Fantastic experience, very clean and well organised, great attrition to detail, with nz music and DVDs available, great quality bedding and sheets, but the outside bath tub was something else!! Large bath tub, with bubbles bath available, it’s a fantastic addition to they venue. Perfect experience 10/10

Had an awesome stay at the carriage on my last night visiting the South Island from Scotland with my friend from Wellington, My planned check-in time changed and the host was more than happy to accommodate the changes. The carriage was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay and relax overnight, unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor bath as the weather was grey. also enjoyed the kiwi books, CDs and DVDs. would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

What an amazing place!! We loved our stay in this cozy unique place. The attention to detail was remarkable. We loved every minute of it! We enjoyed a walk along the beach which is just across the road and my favourite thing was the bubble bath outside. So perfect! The bed is comfy and the shower was great too. I highly recommend staying here. We met Mike and he was very kind and informative about the area. Thank you for creating such a great place for travellers to stay.

Outstanding experience one could expect to have staying in a luxury carriage. Every detail resembles the time when traveling by train is itself a part of the journey. Susie and Mike are fantastic hosts. We enjoyed everything staying in their lovely carriage.

We really enjoyed staying in the train car. You don't need to be a railroad buff to appreciate the attention to detail and all the extra touches. The breakfasts were delicious. Mike and Susie-Lee were perfect hosts: available, but not intrusive. We highly recommend staying here.
